Born in Texas and raised in Washington, D.C. — the capital of the United States of America — Attorney Dennis is licensed in all U.S. Immigration Courts, in the District of Columbia, and in Maryland. She now serves immigration clients across the United States, with a focused in-person presence in New Mexico and along the U.S.–Mexico border, including Las Cruces, Chaparral, as well as Otero, Cibola, and Torrance Counties, near El Paso, Texas.
With an MBA in International Business and a strong foundation in corporate, real estate, and environmental law, Attorney Dennis has advised a wide range of business clients — from real estate developers and construction firms to hospitality companies and energy investors. This experience gives her unique insight into complex immigration cases that involve business ownership, investor petitions, tribal partnerships, or cross-border finance.

A specialty occupation requires theoretical and practical application of a body of specialized knowledge and a bachelor's degree or higher in the specific specialty. The H-1B visa is typically valid for up to three years and can be extended for up to six years. Gold Card
Investment Type: Direct payment of $5 million to the U.S. government.
Minimum Cost: $5 million.
Job Creation: No job creation requirement.
Residency Path: Aims to fast-track residency and citizenship.
Annual Cap: No limit, targeted at ultra-high-net-worth individuals.
EB-5 Visa
Investment Type: Investment in a U.S. business.
Minimum Cost: $800,000 in Targeted Employment Areas (TEAs) or $1.05 million elsewhere.
Job Creation: Must create or preserve at least 10 full-time jobs for U.S. workers.
Residency Path: Path to a Green Card, then citizenship.
Annual Cap: Capped at 18,786 visas per year.
Key Differences
Investment Amount: The Gold Card requires a higher investment ($5 million) compared to the EB-5 visa ($800,000 or $1.05 million).
Job Creation: The EB-5 visa mandates job creation, while the Gold Card does not.
Residency Path: Both aim to provide a path to U.S. residency and citizenship, but the Gold Card is designed to be a faster track.
The Gold Card is a newer initiative and is still being discussed and developed, whereas the EB-5 visa is an established program.
The TN visa is a nonimmigrant visa that allows Canadian and Mexican citizens to work in the United States in certain professional occupations. The TN visa is available under the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA) and is typically valid for up to three years. The TN visa is a popular option for professionals in fields such as engineering, accounting, and science.
